Victory Venkatesh starrer Tulasi and Mahesh Babu’s Athidhi are almost complete and are getting ready to release soon. As per the sources, there are chances that Tulasi and Athidhi might release on the same day, October 18th. Earlier there was almost a week gap as Tulasi was slated to release on October 12th and Athidhi on the 18th. Due to a few adjustments, Tulasi might end up moving to 18th. There is no official confirmation on this though-Telugu Cinemass.

Directed by Boyapati Srinu of Bhadra-fame and produced by D Sureshbabu on the banner of Suresh Productions, “Thulasi” is coming up with Victory Venkatesh as hero and Nayantara as heroine.Producer Sureshbabu says, ‘Young music sensation Devisri Prasad scored music for the flick. The audio of the film was released into the market recently and there is a very good and positive response to the audio. The film would be like a family subject on the one hand and at the same time will have different elements like romance, action and comedy. We are making efforts to release the film on October 12.’

Music of Venkatesh’s big-budgeted movie, “Tulasi”, was formally released. Venkatesh’s father and veteran producer D. Ramanaidu, senior director K. Raghavendra Rao and actress Shriya were some of the chief guests who attended the audio launch ceremony that was held on Saturday, September 22, 2007. It was held in a very simple manner on the sets of the film where a song is currently being canned on Venkatesh and Shriya (she is doing item song in it).Heroine Nayanatara could not attend the function. Venkatesh, director Boyapati Srinivas, music director Devi Sri Prasad and other crew members also attended.

The audio cassettes can only available in the market from September 24th.

Hero Venkatesh said that the film’s music would be a hit. “Devi has given a good score. He is one of the few young talents in our Tollywood that we should be proud of. I hope the film too does well. It entertains all my fans as well the general audiences,”he said. Shriya expressed her joy working in a big film as such this.

“This is my first film for Suresh Productions. I am thankful to Ramanaidu, Venkatesh and Suresh Babu for giving me this great opportunity,” Devi said.

The title of Venkatesh film is going to be “Tulasi”. D. Suresh Babu could convince Raviraja Pinisetty about the story of the film and the relevance of the proposed title, as it was the latter that held the title rights. Interestingly, Shriya is set to sizzle in the movie as the item girl to the scintillating music of Devi Sri Prasad. The song canning will begin from September 20th.
