ENTRY TO THE FILM INDUSTRY:

He was first noticed when he made a special appearance in his uncle Chiranjeevi’s film Daddy that was produced by his father.His dance abilities in the film amazed the audience and offers started pouring in. He was actually director Teja’s first choice for Jayam. As Allu Arjun declined the role, it eventually went to Nitin and the film was huge hit.

His first film as a leading man, “Gangotri”, directed by veteran director K. Raghavendra Rao, was a hit. His second film “Arya” was a 2004 blockbuster. It was Arjun’s first major hit. His third film, “Bunny” was also a hit. His fourth film, “Happy” didn’t reach the expectations and turned out to be an average film. However, the film made decent profits in the United States.

In 2007, his next release with Puri Jagannadh, Desamuduru, proved to be a big hit at box office and the first hit of the year in Telugu. The film is the best in Arjun’s career so far.
